m4a (AAC) versus mp3 format...

we chose the AAC format in order to allow chapter selection of our podcast (a new feature in iTunes 4.9).
As a vast number of our downloads are via iTunes software, it seemed the obvious choice, allowing the user more control and instant information on our podcasts.

please note that the AAC file format (.m4a) will require apple's iTunes software or and apple iPod to play correctly.

at present we have a limited bandwidth and cannot add multiple format options for download. if you experience problems with the AAC format please try the following:

iTunes is available as a free download from apple's website in both OSX and XP versions. the AAC files can then be played on either operating system, or converted to mp3 ready to download to your mp3 player, if you don't use an iPod for podcast playback.
sorry for any inconvenience.
